Spring Show Overview:
This March, the original Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival celebrates its 26th consecutive year in Albuquerque. True to tradition, artists will hail from around the country; this time representing 25 different states and dozens of mastered mediums. This competitive lineup of 200 artists and craftsmen will represent a wide range of original two-dimensional art, sculpture, photography, jewelry, textiles, ceramics, wood, metal and glass art – all available for purchase directly from the artists!
Not only will customers find great arts & crafts, but they will also enjoy the whole experience, from talking to the artists to listening to live music, grabbing a bite to eat in ‘Culinary Row’, and watching artists demonstrate their crafts. Youngsters will have the opportunity to create their own works of art for free at the ‘Kids’ Creation Station’.
BEST IN TOWN! This is the top-rated indoor festival in the state, attracting over 20,000 visitors annually. This show has also been named in the nation’s Top 100 Shows (Sunshine Artist Magazine) for a decade!
FRESH WORK! Approximately 25% of participating artists are brand new to Rio Grande Festivals.
