Following is a list of some nearby restaurants, stores and businesses. Please pick up a copy of the Albuquerque Visitor’s Guide at the Festival Information Desk, which will give you restaurant listings and a map of Albuquerque.
Uptown has an urban feel, more so than any other part of Albuquerque. It has a bustling night life, fine restaurants and lots of shopping including ABQ Uptown Shopping Center and Coronado Mall. Restaurants range from national chains such as Elephant Bar, Macaroni Grill, California Pizza Kitchen and Chipotle to award winning independent restaurants such as Marcello’s Chophouse and Gardunos. Uptown is roughly bordered by Pennsylvania on the east, San Pedro on the west, Menaul on the north and I-40 on the south.
NOB HILL / UNIVERSITY AREA
Nob Hill is a vibrant district bursting with predominantly locally owned shops, galleries, restaurants and nightspots. Route 66 neon signs and architecture make Nob Hill a hip area just west of EXPO NM and east of the University. Local favorites are Two Fools Tavern, Flying Star, Kelly’s Brew Pub, and Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro.
